Now coming back to weather North East monsoon is heading for a small but much-needed recovery break for the next few days. With parts of South Tamil Nadu seeing very heavy waves this short spell of dry weather will come as as a welcome relief. The cyclonic circulation over South Arabian sea is likely to descend into a low pressure area and strengthen to a depression over the next couple of days this is likely to move further West potentially giving no impact to the Indian subcontinent.
For coastal Tamil Nadu we need to look East at the developing easterly wave with an embedded circulation near Andaman Islands. This potentially could evolve into a disturbance and head towards coastal Tamil Nadu early next week bringing back the rains with it. With MJO slowly heading East it will continue to remain in a favorable phase as November winds downs and December moves in this could potentially become the the best fortnight for North East monsoon 2020.
