The Low Pressure off the coast of Sri Lanka continues to persist as rains resumed over Coastal Tamil Nadu since last night.  Parts of delta districts got some rains since late evening with both Karaikal & Nagappattinam IMD observatories recording about 1 cm till 5:30 in the morning.  Even parts of Chennai got passing showers after midnight as cloudy skies started to set the pattern over most parts of Tamil Nadu. The Low Pressure Area in Bay of Bengal now lying between Sri Lanka & Andaman Islands continues to churn along as it makes a slow West / Southwest Movement towards Sri Lankan coast.  In the meanwhile as explained in our yesterday’s post another warm day awaits most of Tamil Nadu today as well.
